Intermediate

On Wednesday the 25 of November 2020 the year 6 went to their new intermediate school for a visit. It was really fun! We got put into Mr Badminton's to store our bags and stuff. Also we got to play the hose of a fire truck. There was a lot of things to do. We played this game called coney island. The principal (who is called Mr Udall) talked about the RISE values and how his school is all about opportunities. We had to fill out a form about who we wanted in our class and those things. I really enjoyed the day. It was very fun.

What's in Tom the Cat's Pocket?

A while ago we had to choose a character and pick 12 things that we think would be in it's pocket. I choose Tom the Cat.

What is in Tom the Cat’s Pocket?

  1. Empty tuna can, because Tom loves tuna. He ate the tuna that was inside of it.

  1. Ball of yarn, because Tom loves playing with yarn. He has fun with it.

  1. His owner's wallet, because he stole it to buy more tuna. He ate all his tuna.

  1. Plasters, so he can stick Jerry to the wall. He hates Jerry.

  1. A mouse trap, in case Jerry gets out of the plasters. His plan b.

  1. Cheese, so he can lure Jerry into one of his traps - His way to attract Jerry.

  1. Comb, to brush down his fur in case he sees a female. His way of looking nice.

  1. Hammer, nails and some wooden planks, so he can trap Jerry in his mouse hole.

  1. An anvil, in case he has to get his owners attention. AKA: when Jerry gets out of control.

  1. Some empty band aid containers, for all those times he has gotten injured.

  1. A bone to give to Spike, because sometimes his traps hit Spike and not Jerry.

  1. A Warner Bros picture, to remember the good old days when he and Jerry were friends.

Aurora Writing Course

On the 4th and 18th of September Raedyn and I got to go on a writing course. The first one was at Eastwood Hill. We did some poetry and some writing. We had to write a poem about nature and our experience at Eastwood Hill. We meet some other kids from other schools and we learned new writing techniques. Our latest one was at the Holy Trinity Church. We had to recall our last experience. Some people read out there poems others didn't. Raedyn and I enjoyed ourselves and had lots of fun.
